11 Hanna Wheeler: Dutch translator, copywriter
Send us a text message about this episode!
Hanna Wheeler is a Belgian Canadian living in Toronto, where she works as a copywriter and translator from Dutch into English. You can find her at her desk by the big window or in one of a dozen of her favorite coffee shops in the city (her favourite in Canada).
As a translator, she has worked on both fiction and nonfiction, from historical biographies and coffee table books to YA novels, children’s picture books, and graphic novels. She also translates creative marketing copy. As a writer, she loves working with not-for-profit organizations, innovative brands, and creative agencies.
On a personal level, Hanna appreciates a good ampersand, makes herself a vanilla latte every morning, and owns a scraggly dog who may or may not be a tiny werewolf. She loves the word flabbergasted and was able to sneak it into all three of the romance novels she translated last year.

Kathie's note: Hanna is a fellow Cavedweller in my favorite productivity place, Caveday. She has a delightful personality! Love, love, love a good giggler.
